Fair Havens Hospice provides respite breaks, symptom control, psychological support and end-of-life care to adults from the age of 19 in Southend, Castle Point and Rochford. This means we covers a population of just over 330,000.
Our services include a ten-bedded In Patient Unit, Day Care Centre, Fair Havens Macmillan Nursing Team, Hospice at Home and Family Support. Although the charity was founded on a Christian ethos, care and support is given to families of all faiths or none.
Fair Havens Hospice is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and no patient is ever charged for the care they receive.
The general running costs of Fair Havens Hospice for this year is £3.3 million with limited government funding.
