
We provide respite breaks, symptom control, psychological support and end-of-life care to adults from the age of 19 in Southend, Castle Point and Rochford, covering a population of just over 330,000.
Our services include a 10-bedded In Patient Unit, Day Care Centre, Fair Havens Community Macmillan Nursing Team, Hospice at Home and Family Support. Fair Havens Hospice is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and no patient is ever charged for the care they receive.
The general running costs of Fair Havens Hospice for 11/12 is £3.3 million with limited government funding.
Fair Havens is part of Havens Hospices, which incorporates Little Havens Children’s Hospice.
