Are you aged 16 – 25 years? Would you like to be part of a young and dynamic team that promotes the profile of Havens Hospices and your school?
Working with the Havens Hospices Youth Team, they will help raise the profile of their school and the charity.
We offer wonderful opportunities for young people that will help them to develop their skills and experience for the job or university. By being part of the programme they gain valuable experience of team work, event management and fundraising.
All our Young Ambassadors receive excellent training including presentation and communication skills and are offered the opportunity to be at the heart of their local community. Following training, Young Ambassadors are offered a mentor from an area of the hospice depending on where they would like to volunteer - it could be in the community helping to fundraise or working directly with our Care Teams.
Each intake begins in October and runs through to the following March (care opportunities conclude in the following October).
