It costs £5.7 million to continue caring at both Fair Havens Hospice and Little Havens Children's Hospice and, as we receive limited government funding, we rely heavily on donations of our supporters.
Whether you’re a school, a youth group or a young person looking to raise money for Havens Hospices, there are lots of ways you can get involved from taking part in our Havens to Havens walk, take part in "Brew, Bake and Celebrate" to celebrate our birthday in June, dress down in fun and wacky clothes for the day or choose us as your charity of the year and support us through the term with fun activities. It might be the whole class, the whole year group or the whole school that gets involved, there’s something for everyone!
There's also a full range of events organised by Havens Hospices that everyone can get involved with.
Can teaching staff get involved? Absolutely! Children want to see teachers letting their hair down and having fun, so we think they will be excited about sponsoring a teachers’ challenge. Get parents involved as well and encourage them to make a donation to guess the winner of the challenge, or they could take part themselves too!
Every gift, no matter how large or small means so much to the adults, children and families who rely on our love and care every day.
